ABOUT THE PATTERN
This is a quick, addicting knit that is perfect gift knitting. It is not a boring knit, as every other row is changing and requires some attention. Once you’ve begun knitting part of the diamond section, you will find that it is quite easy to read your knitting, and the repeat is fairly easy to memorize. Just remember to pay attention to the pattern so you form diamonds and not just straight lines! This pattern does use cabling, but it is simple to modify to knit without a cable needle (there's a linked tutorial in the pattern!).
It is easy to modify for any weight of yarn and to modify the width and length. It will look beautiful in a solid, tonal, speckled, or faded color scheme. If you would like a fabric with more drape, I recommend increasing your needle size for a looser gauge. Written and charted instructions are included.
