So when the pan goes from oven to table, I have to use multiple potholders to protect my table surface. That made me wonder, “Why are most potholders so SMALL??”
The solution: The Not-Your-Everyday Potholder. It’s the size of a standard cookie sheet, and double-thick to offer more protection for your table. Made using the two simplest of crochet stitches – the Chain and the Single Crochet, you can whip this up over a weekend and use it for dinner Sunday night. But you better make more than one, because once your friends see it, they’ll want one, too!
This pattern includes instructions on how to modify the size of the finished potholder, so you can make it even BIGGER…or smaller.
