Oh Christmas Tree!
This is a cute Christmas Tree themed dog sweater.
Knit in the round seamlessly from top to bottom. It features garland and Christmas tree ornaments/lights. Fair Isle stranding technique is used in two contrasting colors at a time for the garland. After garment is complete, a crochet hook and scrap yarn in a variety of colors is used to add bobbles to the tree representing the lights/ornaments. Also, the bottom edging is pick up and knit in the round to complete the look.
There are two options for the bottom edging: Ribbed or ruffles.
Used here: Berrocco Vintage in Holly, Caron Simply soft party yarn in silver and worsted weight scrap yarns in various colors.
There is a photo tutorial and a YouTube Video is available for bobble making instructions. Crochet knowledge is not needed for this pattern.
Difficulty: stranded knitting from chart, knit in the round, increases and decrease
