While knitting this scarf, I could not get this song out of my head, "Oh when the saints". Be careful, this may be infectious. Well, there are no saints marching in here, it is dots.
The scarf is worked in double knitting, using a sport weight yarn. A short introduction to double knitting is included in the pattern. If you have never used the technique before, you may find it helpful to watch some tutorials. The pattern is a sequence of 4 different charts which are mirrored once you have reached the center chart. There are no written instructions, you need to know how to read charts.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate (double knitting, working from charts)
Yarn: Steinbach Strapaz (80% wool, 20% nylon; 150m/100g; 164yds/1.76oz); 4 balls; Sample used 2 balls (300m/328yds) of each color with nearly nothing left.
