‘On The Grid’ - customisable crochet bag pattern

This customisable pattern has detailed instructions for how to adapt and customise the bag depending on what size or style you are making. There are three different 'grid' styles to chose from for the main section of the bag, an optional base extension and two different styles of handle for a tote or shoulder bag. The 'On The Grid' can be customised further with your choice of colour, colour blocking or stripes!

I recommend a cotton yarn that is aran/worsted/medium weight, however dk/light worsted yarn also works well. I recommend using the recommended hook for your yarn or slightly smaller if you tend to have a looser tension. The amount of yarn you will use will depend on the style and size of bag you make and the pattern includes several examples as a guide. To give you an idea, for the medium to large bags, I used approximately 3-4 balls of 50g cotton aran.
