As a dog owner, a paw print always makes me smile, even a muddy one on the floor lets me know my friend is here and having fun. So I designed these socks to celebrate all the paw prints dogs leave through our lives and especially on our hearts.
Written instructions with charted colour work. There is a section at the end of the pattern with hints and tips on knitting stretchy colour work.
Knitted toe up with a simple short row heel.
Socks are knitted by width and instructions give choice of matching three different foot lengths to each width. Instructions are written so that sock can be knitted using either a circular needle or DPNs.
The sock in the photograph has been knitted using The Dartmoor Yarn Company's 4ply Jacob wool. For suitable alternatives see below.
