A warm, chunky poncho to wrap up in for that walk by the sea. The simple pattern is reminiscent of a calm, peaceful sea, with moss stitch for the edges, (USA seed stitch), and a stocking/stockinette stitch centre – and the uncomplicated texture lets the tweedy yarn shine.
An easy knit for the beginner and yet interesting enough for the experienced knitter who likes to watch the world go by or natter with friends and knit at the same time.
This is an easy pattern as the only skills are cast/bind on and off, knit and purl. Line by line instructions, in English, with British and US terms. There is a finishing section with a diagram and photos to help sew it up.
