The Penny Vest is worked in the round to the base of the neck, then worked flat in a single piece to the armholes. Then, beginning at the armholes, the vest is worked flat in 3 pieces. Additionally, the lace inset on the front is knit in a lighter fingering weight yarn for added drape while the rest of the top is worked in DK weight yarn.
