Picnic evokes some of my favorite summertime memories: picking wild berries, finding a beehive dripping with golden honey, plucking dandelion puffs to watch their seeds float through the air, a chance sighting of deer prancing through the forest, delicate vines creeping across trees, a basket overflowing with treasures found during a day full of adventure and discovery.
This shawl is a large right triangle in shape, worked from one edge all the way down to a point. Each of the seven sections feature a different stitch pattern, and combined with pretty tassels and generous blocking, this is truly a cozy and elegant knit.
Yarn: 820 yards fingering weight 6 20G mini skeins and 1 50G skein were used to create the sample (Wonderland Yarns and Fyberspates) If you are planning to use mini skeins for this project, please choose ones that are at least 102 yards.
