Piper is a cozy pair of knitted legwarmers featuring a classy lace and ribbing stitch pattern. They are worked from the top down in the round. This pattern contains instructions in both written and charted formats.
Pattern uses the following techniques: Tubular cast on and sewn bind off (optional, tutorials linked), simple lace (includes k3tog, sssk).
Gauge: 3 repeats of pattern, blocked: 27 stitches = 4.75 inches/ 12 cm
Yarn: DK weight wool or wool blend; 150 (200, 250), 300, 350 g; 380, (445, 510), 570, 635 yds/ 350, (405, 465), 520, 580 m
Needles:
Ribbing: US #3/3.25mm circular needle/double points or one size smaller than needle used for leg.
Leg: US #4/3.5mm circular needle/double points or size required to get gauge.
