worsted weight yarn, but use whatever yarn you like, you will either attain larger or smaller dolls. I used Bernat Premium and Caron Simply soft. The most yarn you will use will be for the hair. Colours needed Green/White/Skin Colour/Hair Colour/Scrap red for flowers and shells. The most yardage used was the hair which used about 200 yards of Caron Simply soft, and will depend on how much you choose to use to cover your head.
My doll measured 14.5 inches but another doll done by a tester was 16 inches tall so this will be determined by your gauge and yarn used.

My pattern has been tested by 5 different testers to ensure accuracy and ease of pattern as I want beginner level to be able to use my patterns.
