Plot Twist

I had decided on a pattern for this yarn before it arrived. I sketched it, charted it, I knew exactly what this sock was going to look like. Then something happened. In a plot twist, the yarn had other ideas. I wound it, cast on to swatch with it, and it didn't share my vision for what it was meant to become - it had it's own plan. I make it a point never to argue with yarn (especially when there is cashmere involved) so I listened to the yarn and we worked together. Several swatches later, what resulted is a different sock than I had envisioned, but a sock that makes both the yarn and I happy. Hopefully, it will make you happy, too.

Worked from the top down, Plot Twist features a cable panel on the inside front leg of the sock and foot. The front and back of the leg are ribbed, with the ribbing continuing on the top of the short row heel and onto the toe.
