Adjustable, reversible, worked from side to side, straightforward lace and pointy bits: Pointer combines some of my favorite elements in shawls. One 100g skein of a DK weight yarn is enough to knit up both the size small and large shawls shown, but you can knit Pointer in any length that you like by changing the number of times you work the repeat. The diagonal lace consists of an easy repeat and this combined with the DK weight yarn ensures that this baby knits up pretty quickly. The points on the bottom edge of the shawl are created by casting on and casting off stitches along the way.
