The beauty of knitting miter squares is that you pick up and cast on as you go. There are no seams in the fabric of this vest. It is worked flat with the only seams at the shoulders and a seam at the front for a pullover vest. It can also be made as a cardigan vest by adding button bands on the fronts. Each Miter Square is CO as one piece and knit with a double decrease on the 3 center sts and a garter ridge every 4th row.
