Pretty Simple Bobble Blanket pattern by Melu Crochet

A cute little blanket for your modern nursery! This blanket will give colour and texture to your baby's cot, pram or nursing chair. Make one for an original handmade baby shower gift! I’ve designed it for beginners of the bobble stitch.

Materials 4mm hook Approx amounts of dk yarn: Main body colour: 115g, Bobble stripe colour: 80g, Border: 30g Total: 225g I used Stylecraft special dk Main body colour and Border: 145g Cloud blue, Bobble stripe colour 1: 40g white, Bobble stripe colour 2: 40g denim Tapestry Needle Sizes Finished blanket measures approx 62cm x 72cm (22½ in x 28½in), ideal for a baby blanket or lap blanket and a guide is given to allow you to re-size your blanket - go large with a sofa throw or bedcover. Tension 15st and 12 rows in htr to 10cm/4in using 4mm hook or size needed to obtain tension. This is a guide for sizing and drape but pattern will work if tension is different.
