Named Raiden Japanese for lightening is this V-neck A-line pullover with cables at the center with bright contrast color neck fill. The cables are divided in two for the V-neck and continues across the shoulders as part of the neckband. The back and sleeves are all knitted in stockinette stitch to allow the cables to shine. Raiden is knitted, in pieces for the ultimate fit, in the airy Norwegian combed wool yarn Ask from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk.
Yarn: Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk, Ask (100% wool, 315 m/344 yds, 100 g). Sample is knitted in MC with V-neck insert in CC: MC: Melert mørk grå 6061: 3 (4, 5, 5, 5) (6, 6, 7, 7) skeins; 1148 (1242, 1336, 1430, 1578) (1726, 1874, 2022, 2170) m. Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows in st st using 3.5 mm/US 4 needle measures 10 cm square after blocking.
