This cozy capelet in a gorgeous colorway is knit in the round from the neck down, with hidden increases that allow for extra pattern inserts. The poncho is finished with a coordinating diagonal border that is knitted on while binding-off the live sts.
Directions are charted and written for ease in completion (contact the designer for digital copies of the charts if need bigger).
This can be knit in any of the sock yarns currently on the market -- it would look glorious in a tonal or other splashes of color. Self-striping yarns may overwhelm the lace work.
