This was inspired by the memory of granny jumpers; ah, those delicious textures and leather buttons. Cables and cabled slipped stitches give a beautiful elegant fabric with warmth and interest.
Yarn choices This is designed for DK yarn. I used Debbie Bliss Blue Faced Leicester in Sage and you need just one ball for this project . Plain, tweed or heathered yarns will be great for this and the pattern will show up best in light and bright shades. Wool or majority natural fibre yarn is required as this pattern does need blocking.
