Some knitting experience required. Closed-ring cables and short rows are explained in the pattern, but not cabling as such. You will need to know how to follow charts.
Please note that the pattern does not state a specific brand of yarn. This is because the one originally used is no longer available. Use Aran weight yarn at approx. 90 meters / 50 grams which will give you a gauge of 18 st x 27 r over 10cm x 10cm when done on 3,5mm - 4,5mm needles. I recommend pure wool with good stitch definition.
You’ll need ca. 900 grams in colour A, 350 grams in B, 150 grams in C and 600 grams in D.
