Ripple Rock is a top down triangular shawl featuring two easy pattern stitches. It is begun at the top with an interesting texture stitch and ends with a wide two color border that is both fun and addictive to knit.
The colorwork section of this shawl is worked using slip stitches and only one color per row. Any fingering weight wool or wool blend will work well with this pattern.
Sizing for the shawl may be easily adjusted by altering the number of pattern repeats in the textured stitch and/or the color work border.
Blocked size of large sample shown: 58 wide by 20 inches deep, using 360m of the main color and 175m of the contrast color.
The stitch patterns are charted only. Gauge: 20 sts to 4" in stocking stitch, unblocked.
