The Rose Petal Sandwich Socks feature garter stitch columns with a single stocking stitch line meandering from side to side, inspired by the stacks of rose petal sandwiches and other delicious provisions being prepared for an adventure in Brambly Hedge - the wonderful books by Jill Barklem. With a pleasant and flowing pattern they make for very enjoyable knitting, they are also deceptively simple. They are worked cuff down and finished with an eye of partridge heel flap and a rounded wedge toe and the ribbed design makes for a very comfortable fit.
