Ruffled socks are a variation of my simple ribbed socks pattern, a basic sock knitting pattern, with a cast on and heel table for all sizes from baby to adult, accompanied by industry standard sizing. Ruffles are knit on at the end, after finishing the sock.
These socks are knitted cuff-down. There is also a description for all three types of heels: afterthought, short row and flap heel. Links to educational videos are provided in the pattern.
Basically, this is a sock pattern that is a compilation of everything I’d learned while learning how to knit socks cuff-down and an invaluable resource for a sock knitter of any level and a hand knit sock designer. Enjoy!
