This PDF knitting pattern has full instructions to knit these two Christmas Gnomes. Santa and his wife have been out to choose a fresh Christmas Tree. Mrs Claus still has her apron on and is carrying a lantern to light the way.
These gnomes stand approx 23 cms high (9") to the top of their hats.
This pattern is written over 6 A4 Pages (including front cover) and includes full knitting and making up instructions and is broken down row by row when shaping. The stitches used are stocking stitch and garter stitch. Therefore, I would say that this pattern is suitable for the intermediate knitter or a beginner who is confident using finer needles and dk yarn.
There are two occasions where I have used a crochet hook, but have given alternative instructions for using knitting needles.
