This is an easy pattern - using chain stitches, single crochet, stitches, double crochet stitches and for the brim/band you will need to understand how to work in the back loop of the stitches.
The pattern is written in American (English) crochet terms. You can substitute any yarn and hook for this stitch pattern – just remember when you substitute if your gauge is different, the finished size of your project will also be different.
