The archangel colorway in Malabrigo Silky Merino is kind of ever changing. The colors meld together in shades of pinks and yellows and plums. It's impossible to photograph, but gorgeous to wear. This shawl was designed specifically for the colorway. The lace is worked from the bottom up, with a larger cast-on number diminishing to columns of stockinette in the body of the shawl to show off all the lovely blending colors.
This pattern is provided in written and charted instructions. Stitch markers are recommended to help keep track of the edge and center stitches.
Important Note: I had less than ten yards remaining after working the shawl, so you might want to have a 4th skein available to you just in case!
