This is my ode to the show Outlander. This outlander caplet is reminiscent of the one Brianna wore from season 4 and on. This is my rendition of it! Enjoy.
It is made for one size but once you start the pattern you will see how it can be adjusted to make the shoulders wider.
Materials you will need to start for the Sassenach Capelet Crochet Pattern:
4 skeins of Cat 5 Chunky Yarn: I used Yarn Bee Creatively Colorful (400yards as written more if adjusting), but I have also use Charisma bulky tweeds or Buttercream roving
6.5 mm Crochet hook.
2 large buttons
This pattern unlike others uses a variety of Half Double Crochets and Single crochets and short rows to achieve this look.
