A practical knit that uses up all your scrappy yarn bits.
While the bulk of this project is knitted in easy linen stitch, there are a few unusual design elements to add interest. It is a fun project to use up all your hand painted sock wool remnants.
The Medium Case holds 12 hooks 2mm-8mm scraps 50g [1.8oz] Nurturing Fibres Supertwist sock maincolour 10g [0.4oz] Nurturing Fibres Supertwist sock
The Large Case holds 19 hooks Scraps 80g [2.8oz] Nurturing Fibres Supertwist sock 16g [0.6oz] Nurturing Fibres Supertwist sock
I designed this project as part of the 2012 design swap on the South African swap group. I was delighted to be given Nikxi as my swap partner, she is so dear to me. I wanted to give her a case that would last through years of wear and tear and was textured.
I am delighted with this pattern and Nikxi thought it was wonderful. :)
