This afghan block comes in two sizes - a smaller single-coloured version and a larger multi-coloured square. Both are heavily textured and interesting to crochet as every round is different. A separate set of instructions for each one allows for a smooth transition between rounds in both cases, for the neatest possible result. There are 11 pages with clear photographic illustrations for every round.
The colours and stitches of the larger square are meant to reflect the shoreline on a summer's day, hinting at shells, lapping surf, sand, driftwood, pebbles, ropes and a warm blue sea. Well... we can dream!
Please note: the pattern is for the squares only; making-up and border instructions are not included.
