This pattern was originally published as [Twisted's][1] contribution to the 2013 [Rose City Yarn Crawl][2]. It is available either as a single pattern or as part of the 2013 Rose City Yarn Crawl Pattern Collection Ebook.
Inspired by the Sellwood Bridge, the twisted ribbing on this pattern set mimics the meandering nature of the Willamette River, which flows under the beautiful and historic Sellwood Bridge.
Yarn - 300-325 yards sport-weight yarn for arm/legwarmers, 300 yards for cowl. Shown in Blue Moon Fiber Arts Victoria (100% South American Polwarth; 661 yards/226 grams), colorway Kapow Patina.
Needles - US #5/3.75mm (or size to get gauge) for your preferred method of knitting a small item in the round (either two circulars, or one long circular for magic loop, or a set of double-pointed needles) AND needles one size smaller for ribbing.
Notions - Tapestry needle.
Skill level - Advanced beginner (knitting in the round, twisted stitches).
