Septentrio, onis, m.: the northern regions, the north, the north wind.
Septentrio is a sweater inspired by nordic sweater, but with a modern twist. I wanted to create a clean design, a simplified version, with a rather simple motif. Thus, this design can be a good way to learn stranded motif in the round (which is not difficult at all!).
Septentrio is a unisex design, for boys and girls. Choose the colors which they love !
This sweater is available in 7 sizes, from 2 to 14 years.
It is worked from top down, all in the round and seamlessly.
You will need DK yarn : 400 (500/600/700/800/900/1000) meters / 440 (550/660/770/880/990/1100) yards for main colour and 20 (20/20/20/25/25/25) meters / 22 (22/22/22/27/27/27) yards for 3 contrasting colours. But feel free to use only one or two contrasting colours !
