The Sérac Blanket was designed to accompany the Sérac Hat, creating a matching welcome set for newborns and babies. The body and borders are knit seamlessly as one piece, creating a blanket which is perfectly sized for strollers and car seats. Instructions are given for 6 different yarn weights and full tutorials are available for the Left Twist and Right Twist stitches.
The pattern is given for the following yarn weights:
Fingering (850yd / 780m), Sport (790yd / 730m), DK (650yd / 600m), Worsted (580yd / 530m), Bulky (470yd / 430m), Super Bulky (350yd / 320m)

Errata: The side borders continue in the same Broken Rib stitch established in the 'Bottom Border' section. The WS of the side boders in the 'Body' Section has been corrected to read:
WS: Sl1pw wyif, purl to marker, SM ...work body stitch pattern for that row... SM, purl to end.
