C is for cookie (and crochet)…that’s good enough for me!
This is my original design that I created based on Cookie Monster from Sesame Street. This pattern is purely fan art (flattery in its highest form), and is in no way associated with the TV series. Cookie Monster is a classic all by himself, but when paired up with his Monster Foodies sidekick Gonger (pattern sold separately), he is irresistible!
It helps to have some experience making amigurumi toys to complete him successfully (intermediate skill level). If you can crochet in continuous rounds using a magic ring and know basic stitches, you shouldn’t have any trouble. He is crocheted in rounds in several pieces, then sewn together. Patterns for Cookie’s chef hat and apron are also included.
This pattern takes the better part of a 3.5-oz skein of blue yarn, and significantly less of the other colors (black, white, tan, dark brown, light blue)—you may already have what you need in your stash.
