POTZBLITZ! is an oldfashioned German exclamation of surprise. „Blitz“ means lightning, and there is a bright yellow lightning bolt zigzagging down the centre of the shawl – hence the name. The dots are crochted after finishing the whole shawl. As the shawl is worked sideways, the size is adjustable.

POTZBLITZ! Die gewittrige Farbkombination und der knallgelbe Blitz haben dem Tuch zu seinen Namen verholfen. Die an Regentropfen erinnernden Noppen werden erst ganz zum Schluss aufgehäkelt, und auch die endgültige Größe des Tuchs legen Sie erst spät fest. Die Anleitung ist für jede Garnstärke anwendbar.
