Sheep in the Countryside Bag

An unusual and useful bag featuring sheep in the countryside. This is a very interesting and quick knit in Chunky yarn so it grows very quickly. The front, bottom and back of the bag are knitted in one piece as are the sides and handle of the bag.

Materials

2 – balls Hayfield Bonus Chunky – Lime Green (0785)

2 – balls Sylecraft Special Chunky – Meadow (1065)

2 – balls Sylecraft Special Chunky – Cornish Blue (1841)

1 – ball Sylecraft Special Chunky – White (1001)

1 – ball Sylecraft Special Chunky – Black (1002)

Knitting Needles – 1 pair of 6 mm (UK4–US10),1 pair of 5 mm (UK6 – US8), 1 pair of 5 mm (UK6 – US8) double ended needles to knit the i-cord

Yarn bobbins are useful to hold the different coloured yarns across the row.

Tension Although tension is not crucial for this pattern, the suggested tension is: 14 stitches and 20 rows to 10 cm (4 inches) over stocking stitch using 6 mm needles
