Silver Kitten Set

Adorable Baby “Silver Kitten” set is a basic knit with adorable final effect. The sequins on the hat ears are sewn on at the end and are optional. The brim and mitt cuff are similar to twisted rib stitch but slightly different. Quick and easy to knit cute set for a baby 0-3m. The hat and mitts are worked on DPNs but can be knitted on long circular needles with magic loop method too.

Materials: silver colour premium acrylic DK yarn 100 g/ 300m

For the hat I used approximately 18 g

For the mitts I used approximately 10 g

Knitting Gauge:

12 sts and 17 rows to 5 x 5 cm = 2” x 2” in stocking stitch (knit row on right side, purl row on wrong side) and 4 mm needles.

Needles:

1 x 3.5 mm (US4) DPNs/ long circular needles

1 x 4 mm ( US6 ) DPNs/ long circular needles
