An unashamedly feminine yarn, this Alpaca blend knits into a beautifully soft fabric with a luxurious drape. We’ve honoured the natural, animal fibres in Sirdar Saltaire by naming our shades to celebrate our home-grown flora and fauna.

What's it like to work with?
Saltaire is a real pleasure to knit. The yarn runs gently through the fingers and slides over needles while the soft natural alpaca fibres allow the stitches to plump-out, giving an all-over evenness and slight haze to your finished fabric.

What is it best for?
