This pattern is written using standard US crochet abbreviations. The skills required are crocheting in the round, front post double crochet, felting/fulling, and increasing and decreasing.
The final measurements of the bag are 6" diameter by 8" height, which can be adjusted based on gauge and/or how much the bag is felted. The fabric is ribbed in a mock cable. The bag is closed by threading the long straps through a short loop, in practicality, it works much like a drawstring.
