The Snelson Snuggle Blanket was designed for the Cheshire Fibre Festival.2016 and is named after a village close to the venue.
It can be made to any size from a baby blanket at 65cm square to a large double bed size at 180cm square. It uses 5 different colours of yarn and you can choose any colours you like. Yarn quantities are given for 4 different sizes.
The original sample used Malabar Aran which is a blend of lofty cotton and silk, giving it weight, softness and warmth, perfect to snuggle under. However this yarn is no longer ready available. A very good value alternative is Stylecraft Special Aran which comes in a wider range of colours. The pattern has been adapted for this yarn.
