Socks for Howard are knitted from the top down to the toe. Start with the stretchy German Twisted Cast-On (also known as Old Norwegian Cast-On), then begin working in 1x1 Twisted rib stitch to make the cuff. Proceed to work the leg of the socks in the simple yet engaging Textured stitch pattern. After creating the sturdy heel flap, turn the heel using some short rows and start decreasing to create the gussets. Finish the socks with the Standard Toe. Enjoy!
Gauge: 32 sts and 48 rnds = 10 cm / 4" over Stocking stitch, worked in the rnd on size 2.5 mm / US 1.5 ndls, meas after blocking.
