I go the idea for this pattern from a cone of soft serve ice cream this past summer. I loved how the machine made spiraling swirls.
The pattern has an easy stitch repeat so can be social knitting. It is also relatively quick to knit. Worked in the round from the brim up.
Sportweight uses ~ 200 yds with 2 circs @ US5 and 1 circ at US6
Worsted uses ~ 150 yds with 2 circs @ US7 and 1 circ at US8
Bulky uses ~ 100 yds with 2 circs @ US9 and 1 circ at US10
