Solstice

Solstice is a trapezium-shaped shawl made of join-as-you-go motifs. Finished size is 73" x 32" (186 x 82 cm), size is easily adjustable by adding\skipping motif rows.

Pattern both written and charted. Also contains a photo-tutorial how to join the motifs and layout to print and create your own color pattern.

Materials needed:

• 1300 yards (1200 meters) of heavy Fingering weight yarn. If you decide to omit fringes, the yardage needed is 1100 yards (1000 meters)

• Hook - 3 mm

• Stitch markers

• 6” (15 cm) height cardboard to make fringes

• Tapestry needle and scissors, blocking pins
