The Sonoma Triangle Shawl Scarf is a very quick and easy crochet pattern that has been designed to take advantage of the current trends of big triangle scarves, that can also be used as a comfy shawl wrap, and using self striping yarn that allows for each shawl/scarf you make to be unique.
The pattern uses simple and basic crochet stitches which makes it a perfect project for a beginning crocheter and a very meditative project for the advanced crocheter.
This pattern works best, and has been designed for, using self striping yarns such as the worsted weight Caron Big Cakes (you’ll only need one Big Cake for this project) or the lighter bulky weight Lion Brand Scarfie (you’ll need 2 balls of the Scarfie yarn for this project) however; you can use substitutes, such as Lion Brand Heartland worsted weight yarn, to create your own individual colour palette for the Shawl/Scarf.
