Our scary spider cupcake is great fun to make and perfect for kids’ parties and Hallowe’en.
This cupcake is fun and practical to make as only minimal seaming is required. The main cupcake is knitted in one piece from the bottom upwards, with just one seam to sew. Three double pins are used from rows 7-12, to ease the tension from multiple increases (not knitted in the round).
The spider web is finished with simple embroidery running stitches at the end.
Finished size is approx 8cm / 3 inches diameter, and approx 6cm/ 2 inches high.
