A spiral of stockinette and ribbing swirls around the leg of the sock. The foot is worked plain. Pattern as written includes a short-row heel and star toe. Feel free to substitute a different heel and/or toe if desired. This pattern works well with variegated yarn.
Directions are included for both toe up and cuff down.
Note: the beginning of the round is constantly moving while working the spiral pattern on the leg. The pattern itself consists of two rows.
Sizes are based on a multiple of 8, with a stitch count of 48 (56, 64, 72, 80 stitches). Pattern can be further adjusted by adding or subtracting stitches in multiples of 8. Length is completely customizable.
