This is a super quick and easy blanket! It worked up for me in a weekend and has a pattern that is very easy to remember. The Spring Ripples Baby Blanket pattern is available on my website for free. However, the ad-free pdf includes so much more! It t contains the written pattern, a chart, a printable care instructions card for the recommended yarn and a printable gift tag. There is also a video tutorial.
The yarn is extremely affordable through LoveCrafts and would be a great stash buster, as the contrasting colors only use about half a skein each.
This is an easy pattern that only uses a variation of double crochet, so a beginner could tackle this pretty easily. The hook size used makes this a dense and squishy blanket; if you would like yours a little more drapey, try using a larger hook; Some of my testers used worsted weight yarn with a K hook. Just keep in mind that your yarn usage will vary.
