Sport weight Cream for body -- about 300 yards (274 m)
Sport weight Light brown heather for face & legs -- about 110 yards (101 m)
Optional: a few yards (or meters) of black for eyes
Sock or Fingering weight Any color lightweight for shawl -- about 200 yards (183 m)
Gauge The stockinette stitch pattern needs to be a little denser than usual. Gauge is not too critical, as long as it is 6 or more stitches per inch (2.5 cm).
