Summer Days socks are long, gorgeous, and warm socks that bring a breath of summer days.
Includes clear written instructions and a chart.
Size: EU 38, US 7.5, UK 5.5. Circumference around the calf is approximately 38-40 cm (15-16 in) when knitted with 3 mm/ US 2.5 needles. If you want a narrower calf, you can use thinner needles.
Yarn: Any fingering weight (approx. 350- 400m/100g) sock yarn. The yarn used in the pictured socks is Viking Garn`s Nordlys in colors 941 and 903
This is how much yarn you need (Size EU 38/ US 7.5/ UK 5.5): Black approx. 100 g/ 3.5 oz Color approx. 40 g/ 1.4 oz
Needles: Size needed to obtain gauge. Size 2.5 mm/ US 1.5 double-pointed needles were used for the ribbing, heel, and toe decreases in the sample socks. Size 3 mm/ US 2.5 double-pointed needles were used for the colorwork. The recommended needle size for fingering weight yarn is between 2 mm and 3 mm / US 0 and 2.5
