Lightweight Silk and Mohair Sweater Digital Knitting Pattern
An easy knitting pattern for beginners / advanced beginners, with clear instructions, photo illustrations and tips.
Sweater is knitted in stocking stitch with moss/seed stitch edges.
Sweater is knitted bottom up on both circular and straight 5.5 mm needles.
Available in one size, L / XL: UK size 16 / 18 or US 12 / 14.
This pattern uses: Ito Kinu (2 ply / lace weight): 100% silk; 50 g / 425 m cone. and Krea Deluxe Silk Mohair (2 ply / lace weight): 45% silk, 33% mohair, 22% baby alpaca; 20 g / 240 m ball.
Other similar weight silk / mohair yarns could be substituted.
Knitting tension is 19 stitches and 24 rows / 10 x 10 cm (4") square, knitted in stocking stitch on 5.5 mm needles.
Actual sweater measurements, when measured flat: Chest: 59 cm Length: 66 cm Sleeve length to shoulder join: 47 cm
Needles: 5.5 mm / US 9 straight and circular.
