Ever see a hat and think, I like it, but if just this one thing was changed about it? And then, when you change that one thing, you change another until the hat you started with looks nothing like what you wanted? Yeah, me too!
This hat is knit from the bottom up, with an option to repeat the cables more times to make it more of a slouchy hat, and the cables meet at the crown to make a flower of sorts.
Not too girly, not too masculine. The perfect hat, according to my son and daughter that is!
Cables are presented in both charted and line by line written format.
For a slouchier hat add one (or more) repeats of the pattern.
Sample was knit beginning to end on a 16 inch circular needle, switching to the magic loop method for the crown decreases, however you can use your favorite "in the round" knitting method.
Finished size is 16 inches but will stretch to fit up to a 23 inch head.
