This pattern includes two methods to knit the hat. The first set of written instructions is for knitting the hat Flat, so there will be a seam. The In-The-Round method results in no seam. The In-The-Round instructions follow the Flat instructions. The heart motif is placed in such a way that it will be on the left side of the
head. Instructions are included for changing the location of the heart. For example on the right side or at the center.
